CHAFYN GROVE - SALISBURY
What a lot we packed into an hour in Salisbury Cathedral this morning! We learned some interesting facts about the history of this magnificent building. The children were eagle eyed at spotting so many details like the consecration crosses on the walls or the shields on tombs and stained glass windows. We enjoyed looking at the modern font, the Bishop’s seat as well as lighting candles in the Trinity Chapel. The highlight was undoubtedly seeing the Magna Carta in the Chapter House, having learned about it in class.
