Small classes, quality teaching and high expectations form the backbone of our academic success. We aim to challenge each child to develop and flourish within the classroom, providing an environment where they are happy, confident and well supported. While we follow the National Curriculum and indeed exceed the standards required, we are not bound by it but are able to offer a broad and balanced curriculum.
Getting the basics right and learning how to learn are core elements of our school, but we also expect every child to find an area where they can excel. Art, Design Technology, Drama, ICT, Music and Physical Education are all part of the weekly timetable alongside the more academic subjects. French begins in Year 1, Spanish is taught in Years 4 and 5 and Latin is introduced in Year 6.
"They see their teachers as having enthusiasm for their subjects." -
